Game Ready Identity (GRID) was a proof of concept designed to give gamers one single app they could control their online identity from. Users could sign up for an account, reserve their handle, verify their identity by leveraging state issued IDs and passports issued by the United States.

The proof of concept allowed game developers to use an API that allowed them to leverage the GRID mobile application for login, to approve login requests using two-factor authentication, post player statistics updates, and verify third party account connections.
